Foto Three GracesHay Chihuahua, could be one word to describe my first week in Yosemite. I never thought that I could ever work in such beautiful place like Yosemite; thanks to WildLink I can. I can’t say that I never been in places such as Yosemite, thanks to my mother, I had the opportunity to live in a closely related place near Tilden Park, in Berkeley. I am a very fortunate person to live in such beautiful places.

As I keep going in to my journey in this wild and stunning place, I think about how unlucky some people are living in big cities and not having any quiet time. Here in Yosemite Valley is hard to find a loud noise, by nine at night the only sound you can hear is either the rain falling or a dear stepping in old dry leaves looking for some fresh grass to eat. Every time a wake up I can’t believe that I am living in Yosemite; I can’t believe my eyes, is in till I go out and see those fabulous mountains and the stunning Yosemite water falls and realize I am a lucky guy.

Next week I am going to Bakersfield and Los Angeles to visit Bakersfield West, Reseda and Crenshaw High Schools, I can’t wait. I am so exited that I get to talk about WildLink and also about Yosemite. It was being more then a year when I saw Jaime coming to my high school and hear her talk about the beauty of Yosemite and now its my turn to talk about it and share my experience with future WildLink students and perhaps interns.
