Encountering Bears

As I was packing there was a bear about five feet away from me. I stared so long I didn’t get a picture. Bears are really beautiful animals.

Last night I awoke to strange noises. Lauren was awake and we didn’t know what it was. Finally Caroline yelled, “Go away BEAR!” I’ve never had a bear that close to me before.

Today it was finally sunny. I really wanted to scare off a bear!

We awoke at 3:00 am to the sound of rustling. I didn’t know what it was. And then I hear a bear right by my tent. All that separated me from the bears was a thin tent.
