Water Water Everywhere

When we got to Sunrise Lake we pitched our tents and ate lunch. Then we went exploring around a lake. Lots of tadpoles, and I saw a deer grazing.

Today we went about 51/2 miles. The campsite is awesome. It is right by Yosemite River.

It was a really pretty hike. At one point we came to this really cool waterfall. We got to camp around two and set up, ate lunch, and now I’m here. It’s really strange to think that I’m going home in 5 days. This whole trip has gone by so fast!

I feel incredible. Every moment tastes fresh, unpredictable, scary, sour and sweet all at the same time. My eyes, mind, heart, and soul gawk at the gorgeous, gorgeous mountains. As we pass cascading waterfalls, my heart escapes my chest to soar toward the undeniable beauty.
