New WildLink Intern Houston Reed to arrive soon!

Houston Reed of Winton, CA will be joining the WildLink staff on January 27. Houston was a member of Expedition VII in June 2001. Read her journal from that expedition. Check back soon to read her journals!

WildLink Expedition IV explores Hite's Cove

Eleven students from Le Grand High School came up to Yosemite for an expediton to Hite's Cove in the Sierra National Forest. Le Grand is a small community just west of Yosemite and Sierra National Forest, but many of the students hadn't visited the park, and it was a first time to The students helped out on a photomonitoring project for U.S. Forest Service District Archaeologist Connie Popelish. photo: students collect stream macroinvertabrates
The students also collected macroinvertabrate samples from the South Fok of the Merced for the Park Servicve's biomonitoring project. Click here to learn more about their expedition.
