It is so wonderful. I am seeing all these stars [and] I never thought I could see so many. It feels like it's a dream and [I'm] in a picture. When I go back to Reedley I am going to say I can't believe I was there. It's wonderful.

Well I am in a beautiful place. Right now I am watching the mountains. [There's] snow all over the place. This is just great for people [to] come [and] visit. It looks like I am inside of a painting. I wish my family [and] my friends could be with me so [that] they could see what I'm seeing and live [out] a beautiful experience. I'm by myself on a rock just thinking [about] what to write, because I can't explain it. It's just beautiful.

Well hello! again. I am just here in a beautiful place to be. I am on top of mountains by the river and I am watching all the stars. It's really great to see them because I'm alone with no one around to bother me. It's quiet and I'm enjoying everything that's around me. I'm hearing the sound of the river [and] the sound of squirrels running through. I'm just thiking how wonderful this is. I smell fresh air; it smells wonderful! This place is a great place if you want to be alone like me and hear the sound of the river. Look at all the star and write what you are thinking and how you feel. Probably you will feel great like I do.

Goals and Expectations

Some of the things that I want to accomplish are to work together as a group, [and to] listen and learn from different people. I want to learn something from each person. I want to make friends and just have fun. [I want to] have an experience that I will never forget. I would like for all of us to come together as a family.

My Background and Wilderness

Well I was born in Mexico. Michuacan. We had to go to the bathroom the same way we have to go right here and in Mexico we had to take showers with cold water all the time. So that's not something new for me but it is great to refresh my mind [on] what I had to go through. One thing that is different are the stars. There are so many stars out here and something else that are different are the sounds. I could hear the river and slmost everything that's around me.
