The difference wilderness makes in me:

In the wilderness it’s so cold and not very comfortable to be in. My attitude towards the wilderness is ok. I don’t really like it. Too much walking and especially no bathrooms. But, then again it’s quite fun also to be with different friends form school, people that I’ve seen and not really get to meet with before. The wilderness is way different from being at home. My attitude towards home is way better than here. I’m those type of people that grew up liking to stay home. I barely go to parties at school or anywhere. My home is so much warmer than the wilderness. Maybe one day I could learn to love hiking. There is no shower in the wilderness, and I personally think it is horrible. I love exploring, but I can’t really explore for many days because I will get really homesick. I don’t ravel a lot to o so I get really car sick. I’m a bother to everybody basically. I love my home way better than the wilderness. Everyone here is friendly also.

Wilderness is:

Wilderness is a place that has no city lights or cars or trains. It’s calm and very peaceful. It sets your mind on things around you, that you have never seen before or looked at in a certain way. Wilderness is a place where there is only peace and quiet. In the wilderness, there aren’t really any worries about anything. Wilderness is a place where people could go to enjoy life and see things from a different point of view. Wilderness is a place where you learn to be independent and not always wait on other people to lead the way or to cook. Wilderness is a place where the true inner-self is actually exposed. Being in the wilderness is hard, but you learn many valuable lessons. Wilderness is kind of like a place you can run to whenever you’re lonely, sad, or upset. Wilderness is a place where your true self shines.
