The
difference wilderness makes in me:
Some
differences I’ve noticed about being at home and being
out in the wilderness would most definitely be the grooming
part. Back home I would have a whole separate routine. I would
wash my face put moisturizer then foundation, blush, eyeshadow,
& mascara. Then blow dry my hair and then curl it. Here
you don’t worry about how you look, it’s about how
you feel. It’s also about what’s comfortable. I
think I like it here, we don’t have any worries about
how we look. But I also like getting ready like I do at home.
It can actually be fun. Another big one would be bathroom-wise.
At home I have privacy. In the wilderness you can probably have
privacy but just the fact that someone could be watching since
we’re out in the open is kinda uncomfortable. Another
difference could be how we act with our friends and how we act
with the people here. So far everything has gone great for me
personally, I’ve gotten along with everyone. I act the
same back home as I do here. I’m think I’m a pretty
friendly person. I will pretty much get along with everyone.
It’s fun because everyone I’ve met here is so different
from each other but we manage to get along just fine. Another
difference could be the food.
Wilderness
is:
To
me wilderness means the things that surround you. But not the
things that surround you in a city but things that surround
you while you’re on a mountain like I am now. There are
trees around me, there are bushes, and there are insects. Those
are the things I see and the noise I hear well it’s practically
none. Maybe a bird chirping here and there and the river down
below. Wilderness is a place where you can be in solitude. A
place where animals can be free to roam without anybody crossing
its territory.
