How is life in the wilderness different from life in Harbor City? Are you different here than you are at home?

The life in wilderness is different because when you’re out in the wilderness you are with your friends having fun just taking pictures and enjoying the wilderness. The wilderness is different because the air smells fresher than over in Harbor City. You could smell the trees and all that kind of stuff. I’m not different here than Harbor City. I act the same way back over in Harbor City but sometime I act different when I am in Harbor City.

Tree of Life

Students were asked to describe their lives as a tree: what are the roots that make them strong? Where do their branches lead...what direction do they want to go in their lives? What kind of tree would they be? Where would their tree thrive best? What is the trunk that helps them stand tall?

Trunk: water makes me strong because it helps the roots grow bigger
Branches: Somewhere that is nice and quiet where nobody bothers.
Roots: The earth holds me up because of water
What makes your tree unique: my branches
Where do you see your tree thriving: somewhere nice, where water goes through.
