How is your second time in the wilderness different? Do you feel different from last time? How have you changed in the last year?

The second time in the wilderness is different in two ways. I feel that the first way in which this particular wilderness experience is different is by witnessing a different section of Yosemite National Park.

The second way in which this particular wilderness experience is different is from the group dynamic, the way the prior group impacts the new group.

Do I fee different from the last time? Yes, I feel more amazed by the beauty of Yosemite.

How have I changed in the last year? I have matured and have grown more in the way I look at life. I see life and the pain derived from life now worth living.

Something like that!

Tree of Life

Students were asked to describe their lives as a tree: what are the roots that make them strong? Where do their branches lead...what direction do they want to go in their lives? What kind of tree would they be? Where would their tree thrive best? What is the trunk that helps them stand tall?

Roots: my future children, my girlfriend, revenge, pride, my daughter, my future, mother
Trunk: ambition
Branches: stability, closure, happiness, success, peace, a home (house), career
Fruit/Gifts: happy children, a difference, a foundation for my family, productive members for society
