How is life in the wilderness different from life in Harbor City? Are you different here than you are at home?

The wildness is different because they don’t have bears running all over the place. And you could play basketball. And you could be clean, and you don’t have to worry that the bear is going to eat your food.

There’s a big difference here because you wash the plates here and you have to be responsible for yourself because your mom isn’t going to be all the time with you. Yes I am different.

Tree of Life

Students were asked to describe their lives as a tree: what are the roots that make them strong? Where do their branches lead...what direction do they want to go in their lives? What kind of tree would they be? Where would their tree thrive best? What is the trunk that helps them stand tall?

Roots: Water
Trunk: Water
Branches: point West
What kind of tree: Christmas tree, because people put balls and things on them. That’s why.
Where does your tree thrive: in my house
What makes your tree unique: my leaves and branches
