I see…the
real world, and how nature decorates it, the beautiful mountains
with snow and the trees sitting on it. I see life, I see the
world.
I hear…the wind and its happiness, I hear freedom, I hear
peace and the way the world wants me to be.
I smell…the fresh air of the snowy mountains. I smell
nature and its rivers, and most of all I smell peace from my
nose to my heart.
I taste…the fresh water, and I have a special taste, that
can’t be written on a piece of paper.
I feel…that I’m a winner to be around so much beauty.
I feel that I’ve made a big step, a step that is going
to help me to be a strong person in life. I feel so close to
the sky.
I dream...with coming back again, I dream with being the wind,
traveling throughout nature, giving oxygen and keeping alive
every single living thing in this place.
On
this hiking adventure, I learned many things. I learned that
nature is alive and that it is really fun to live with. I learned
that all plants and trees, the same as animals, need to keep
wild. We, the humans need to cooperate to keep Yosemite National
Park as a wild place. I also learned about positive and negative
impacts and how they affect nature. Another thing that I learned
is that it is up to us to keep the park and its nature alive.
I think it is really good to have places like Yosemite because
that way we don’t forget that beyond technology, we have
nature. Also we can’t forget what nature is and its beauty.
We would have a really boring world with just houses and without
nature. I can’t really image living without nature. We
need to remember that nature gives us not only beauty but also
health. I think that to understand the real meaning of nature,
people need to be around it.
