Why
did you want to come on this trip? 10 reasons/goals
1. I came to have fun, hiking and see other types of animals.
2. To meet other people like the WildLink programmers &
other kids from other schools.
3. I also thought it might help me know more about becoming
a vet.
4. To get away from Turlock once.
5. My dad said it is a good opportunity to go see other
things.
6. To learn more about nature.
7. To do project/activities to get to know other things
about animals
8. Also to get credit from my wildlife teacher.
9. To see what Yosemite is like, what is here.
10. To so something different in my life.

Fears
1. Not going to be able to keep up
w/ everyone else on the hike.
2. Meet people that do not like me.
3. To slip/trip hiking.

How
were you challenged today?
10/16/02
I think my biggest challenge was hiking up here, because you
use a lot of leg muscles and also I think it was difficult
because I had a heavy backpack on, and that I have never been
hiking before. I also think another challenge was eating the
food, it is a challenge for me because I have never aet a
tortilla w/ pb&j. I think the challenges I did today are
good because I have never done any of it before, so I was
able to do something different in my life.

I think we are doing a good group effort, to get threw the
days we have been hiking.

see…
I see a nice wilderness.
I
hear…
I hear airplances going by and the wind blowing.
I
touch…
I touch the life of the Wild forest that I have never been
to, 'til this day.
