The Golden Fish of Yosemite

I was walking along the river bank one early monring, when suddenly I heard a voice that said, "care to hear my story, one that will make you scream and shout?"

Curious to know who was speaking, I looked inside the water (H2O) and saw a golden fish.

"Look I could swim, talk, and even dance the cha cha cha. I am the fish that has been swimming in the Yosemite Valley for a very long time. My favoite swimming place was a lake that covered this valley 10,000 years ago."

I was tired and hungry; I had not slept for two nights and two days. Being lost in the Yosemite woods was not an easy task. "Little fish, little fish. I am glad you could talk. Can you please show me the way back? I am lost, tired and hungry and I can hardly talk."

"Don't worry my friend, I will lead the way back" the golden fish said.

I suddenly reached for the fish, killed it, and had a good fishy snack.
